What I'm finding about my story is that it's like everybody else's story, having an ill parent, nobody talks about this stuff. Nobody comes to you and says, hey. This is x y z, and this is what you do. You just sit with a case manager after, you know, a life altering event when you're in a skilled rehab, and they say, here's a list of stuff and figure it out. Oh, and good luck. And you have two weeks because you're only in a short term stead. So when you hear those words, I think everything just blanks out, and you're like, me and my sister walked out. And I was like, Okay. So Yeah. I don't know what we do. Let's go home and figure it out. I had knowledge into the business. My sister didn't. So I really got to see through my sister's eyes the struggle of what a family would go to if I didn't have the knowledge that I had, I don't know what we would have done. We went home and we went online, and we researched all assisted livings in Massachusetts. I filled out, I think, about, like, ten or fifteen contact us forms, and no one got back to us. And again, now remember, the clock is ticking. We've got now t minus seventies, and we still haven't had a tour. I decided to get in my car and and drive to some of these facilities. But if I wasn't so comfortable into walking into facilities, I would have just been handed a brochure, the sales and marketing card, and then started the journey with the emails to try to set up meetings.
